Edmund Winder Watts have been trading since the 1950s although the companies history can be traced back over 150 years.
The company originally started in the mid-nineteenth century trading as Robert E Winder & Co and since this time we have incorporated a number of local agents including Thomas Cocking & Sons, Cooper Nodder & Co, Arthur Watts & Co and most recently James Morrison & Co.
We have traded as Edmund Winder Watts & Co since the 1950s but became a Limited company in 2008.
The role of the company has changed over the years, but has always been centred around land and property.
We have a client base that have included some of the countries largest land and property owners.
The mainstay of our business is residential lettings and during the last 150 years we have been one of Sheffield's most prominent agents.
During the mid-sixties we branched out into servicing the common areas of residential flat complexes and since this time this has become a major part of our business.
We currently manage in excess of sixty blocks of flats in South Yorkshire and Derbyshire, ranging from blocks of four to blocks of over sixty flats.
